Who I Help—And Why

Therapy That Gets to the Point

I’m Mitch Holly, a licensed therapist and Army veteran based in Chandler, Arizona. I know what it’s like to feel stuck—overwhelmed by conflict, anxiety, or just trying to keep it together while everything feels like too much.
I work with people who are ready for real change—not just venting, but doing the work. My approach is grounded, direct, and tailored to your life—not a textbook.

Couples

For partners who can’t stop arguing, aren’t talking at all, or feel like roommates instead of teammates.

Men (Adults)

For men dealing with stress, anger, or emotional shutdown. We’ll build tools to communicate, stay grounded, and respond with clarity.

Women (Adults)

For women facing burnout, anxiety, or relationship strain. Therapy helps you reset, set boundaries, and feel like yourself again.

Teens (12+)

For adolescents dealing with school stress, big emotions, identity confusion, or that all-too-familiar teenage shutdown.

Military & First Responders

For those carrying what most people couldn’t even imagine—let’s unpack it in a space where you don’t have to explain.

Evidence-Based, Personalized,
Change That Lasts

Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all—and thank goodness, because neither are you. Whether you’re trying to stop arguing with your partner, help your teen stop slamming doors, or get a handle on your own emotions before they boil over again, I offer a mix of specialized approaches and targeted expertise to meet you where you’re at.

Therapy Approach

The Gottman Method

Evidence-based couples therapy focused on rebuilding trust, communication, and connection.

Emotionally Focused Therapy

EFT is an attachment-based therapy that helps you feel seen, heard, and emotionally safe.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy

DBT is a skill-building therapy for managing emotional reactivity, anger, and impulsivity.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

CBT uses practical strategies to challenge negative thinking and shift destructive patterns.

Therapy Specialties

Premarital Counseling

SYMBIS assessment + sessions to align before marriage, not after conflict hits.

Infidelity

Healing for couples navigating the aftermath of betrayal and rebuilding what’s possible.

Conflict Management

Learn to fight fair, communicate effectively, and stop the cycle of escalation.

Anger Management

You’re not broken—you just need better tools to respond instead of explode.

Anxiety

From chronic worry to panic spirals, we’ll break the loop and restore calm.

Spiritual Abuse

Therapy for healing from religious trauma and reclaiming your sense of identity.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions?
Totally Normal

How do I know if therapy is right for me?

If you’re asking that question, therapy is probably a good idea. You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit—if something’s off, let’s talk.

Do you offer virtual sessions?

Yes! I see clients virtually anywhere in Arizona, and in-person at my Chandler office. Pajamas on your couch? Totally allowed.

How much does therapy cost?

Couples assessments are $200, regular sessions are $150, and individual sessions are $100.

Do you accept insurance?

I don’t bill insurance directly, but I can provide a superbill—a receipt you can submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement. Every plan’s different, so it’s worth calling your provider to ask if they cover out-of-network therapy. If they do, great! If not, I’m still happy to work with you to find a payment option that fits.

Are you supervised?

Yes. I’m a Licensed Associate Counselor in Arizona and work under board-approved clinical supervision—transparency always.
